Thursday 19th October 2023 - A really good 5-0 win last night in the 1st round of cup! MattL, on debut, got us off to a strong start winning 3-0, while Pierre came from 1-0 down to win 3-1..."quite easily in the end." (?)  JCS stormed to victory 3-1, while SteveM, initially 1-0 down, powered past - again - his opponent to win 3-1. I won mine 3-0.
In the next round we face the might of BarntGreen1 at home, in Nov, week beginning 21 Nov. Our next league match is 16 Nov. Lots of time to get in some practice before then!

Thursday 28th September - A very pleasing start to the season indeed last night! PeterK played very well against an extremely strong opponent and went down 3-1, while Adrian - back on court for 1st time since last season - put up a heroic fight v a very experienced player and was just pipped 3-2. I won mine quite comfortably 3-0, and SteveW, after a slow start, got going to power past his opponent also 3-0. SteveM outclased a notoriously tricky competitor again 3-0, meaning we won the match overall 3-2!
Our next match is v Droitwich2 at home on Thurs 12 Oct. Ill ask for availability nearer the time.
Plz note we also have a cup match the week after that.
