Pershore Sports Club

It's not all about hitting balls...

If you feel like it, there can be a lot more to the club than just a game of Squash or Racketball...

Throughout the year, many of the Squash members get together to take part in a range of activities, such as ski trips, sailing weekends, clay pigeon shooting and the annual riverside family barbeque.

As a Squash member, you will be welcome to join the rest of us on any these fun activities.

Skiing - 2012

Dan, Phillip and Mike enjoying the sun and snow in the Three Valleys, France.

Sailing - 2011

On a sunny October weekend, eight members enjoyed sailing in the Solent on a 36 ft Baveria keel boat.

On Saturday we sailed down past the Needles and then on to Poole Harbour where we had a meal before watching a live band in one of the pubs on the sea front. On Sunday morning up to Cowes in light winds for lunch before returning to Lymington.

Boating Barbeque - 2010

Family and friends piled into a bell boat at the summer barbeque by the river at Fladbury. We all enjoyed boating, barbeque and live music.

Clay Pigeon Shooting - 2009

An adrenaline filled morning of shooting at Eckington.

Although a cold day, everyone enjoyed themselves shooting from various positions at clays followed by a barbeque.

Three Peaks Challenge - 2008

On the 4th July, three cars packed with Squash club members drove North to start the Three Peaks Challenge - climb Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdon, the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours. Their purpose was to raise money for both the club and Noah's Ark Childrens Hospice.
